“Great art is a continous dialog between artwork and beholder, yet each of the latter has his very own topic“
Art in context
When presenting my works in the setting of the steeped in history architecture of Rome, they not only call attention to the special mediterrean light but add as well to the very meaning of art history.
Not by chance, my artistic research has led me recently to the use of a special material: polycarbonate („plexiglass“). Due to its transparent nature, it supports the symbolism when investigating LIGHT. It enhance the play of the colors if enriched with precious metals, such as gold, thus not only transluminating but also reflecting -the preciousness of life.
